Community Teaching and Collaboration

Jenny has over twenty years experience of teaching and community collaboration, working with groups of all ages and ability within the community and lecturing at Colleges and Universities. She was a part-time Lecturer at Leith School of Art for many years teaching drawing, mixed media painting and printmaking and has been a Visiting Lecturer at a number of Scottish Colleges, including Heriot Watt University and Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee. Jenny regularly gives talks and leads workshops related to exhibitions of  her own work and that of other artists. She worked free-lance for The National Galleries of Scotland when they set up their Education Department and also for the Travelling Gallery’s education programme. In recent years Jenny has focused on developing innovative and experiential CPD training for artists and teachers.

This is a small sample of images from some of these workshops. I am currently planning some exciting new collaborative workshops for 2018. I will be co – teaching these experimental workshops, exploring the relationship between drawing (in it’s broadest sense) and other mediums, including dance, meditation and yoga. Further details to follow.
